Update Grandparent Information by September 1

Grandparents’ Day 2025-2026 will be held the first week of November 2025. Specific dates and times will vary by campus. Details will be updated as the school year begins.

Complete updates by September 1 to ensure grandparents receive all communications including the Grandparents’ Day invitation mailing that will provide them with additional details for each campus.

To update grandparent information in My ESJ:

Log in to the My ESJ Parent Portal

Click on “Update My Profile” located under My Tools

Save the Date: Beaches Campus Lessons and Carols

The Beaches Campus will host a special presentation of Lessons and Carols on Wednesday, December 18 |8:45 a.m. at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. There will be no regular Chapel Service that morning at 8:10 a.m. Lessons and Carols is an annual event presented by Beaches Campus students in first to fifth grade. The Christmas story is told through scripture readings and Christmas songs.

Each grade (first to fourth grade) will sing a song together and fifth grade students act out the story of Christ’s birth. This has been a longstanding tradition at the Beaches Campus that helps to focus students’ hearts on the true spirit of Christmas. Families are welcome to attend!

Beaches Campus Carpool Reminder

Please help us ensure our morning and afternoon carpool lines run safely and efficiently by following the carpool rules. All cars are to head north on 5th St. and make a right onto 11th Avenue North and into our carpool loop in front of the school. We also ask that you make a right onto 5th Street from 9th Street North.

Please do not cut into the line at any point, and please do not try to head west on 11th Avenue North and make a left into the carpool loop.

Uniform Policy Update

Dear Episcopal Parents,

We are in the process of finalizing updates to the uniform policy in our handbook, which will be uploaded soon. Once the updates are live, we will promptly notify you.

We understand that some families may be in need of additional uniform items due to the closure of Dennis or because their children have outgrown their current uniforms. While we transition to a new uniform vendor, families are encouraged to dress students in solid-colored polos, cardigans, or fleece zip-ups in our school colors—maroon, white, black, or gray paired with khaki, gray, or black bottoms.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this period.

Daniel Kids Toy Drive (December 2-13)

The Beaches Campus is hosting a Toy Drive to support Daniel Kids. The Toy Drive will run Monday, December 2 – Friday, December 13. Our campus is collecting new and unwrapped toys for the children at Daniel Kids. Some gift suggestions are board games, athletic equipment, coloring books, make-up kits, dolls, action figures, scooters, and gift cards.

A little about Daniel Kids

Daniel Kids is a nonprofit organization in Florida dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in crisis or need. Its mission is to provide high-quality services that help at-risk youth achieve independence, stability, and emotional well-being. Daniel Kids works with schools, families, and local agencies to provide integrated support, aiming to create a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable youth.

They serve children and young adults from ages 5 to 25. They offer age-appropriate programs that address the unique needs of children, adolescents, and young adults, focusing on areas like mental health, foster care, independent living, and vocational training to support each age group effectively.

December Parent Association Meeting (December 5)

Dear Beaches Campus Parents,

For the upcoming school year, the PA has organized activities that will enrich our students’ school experience and support our faculty and staff. It is our goal to create school spirit and a joyful sense of community, organize appropriate events, and honor Beaches Campus traditions.

Girls Basketball Clinic (December 13)

Beaches Campus Construction Annoucement

Dear Beaches Community,

I hope this message finds you well. After much anticipation, we are pleased to share that we will begin construction on our new, additional classroom building next week! This important project will enhance our learning environment and allow us to better serve our students.

The new building is on track to be completed before August 2025. We are committed to minimizing disruption in the coming months, and we will update you on progress and any changes that may affect our daily routines.

PARKING

Starting next week, we will not be able to park on 4th Street between 10th Avenue and 11th Avenue. Please avoid this area entirely as the contractors, with heavy equipment, will utilize this space for the project.

COMMUNICATION AND UPDATES

We understand that construction can bring challenges, and we appreciate your patience as we work through this process. We will send regular updates via the Insider, E-News, and email to keep everyone informed about the progress of the project and any important information.
