New This Week
Grandparents’ Day on the Munnerlyn Campus is Thursday, April 17. Students who have grandparents registered to attend will be dismissed after second period to meet their grandparents at the Munnerlyn Center for a special Chapel, followed by lunch in Harden Hall.
Students who do not have a guest will attend third period and be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
Due to space restrictions, unless there are specific medical needs, we ask that parents allow grandparents and students to experience this special time together. Please confirm with your family and make your student aware if they have a grandparent attending. Please note that if we do not have an RSVP for a grandparent, the grandchild will not be marked on the dismissal list. Please contact Jennifer Windley at windleyj@testing-phlexon.online with any questions regarding the RSVP process prior to Tuesday, April 15.
Information about the day’s schedule can be found here https://testing-phlexon.online/grand-munnerlyn/
Get ready for the First Annual Earth-Day Clean-up, Tuesday, April 22, hosted by the ESJ BlueGreen, Outdoors, and Recycling Clubs.
This event is a celebration of Earth-Day and conservation efforts on campus. We will meet outside of the Harden Hall front doors, and will clean-up various locations around campus. This event will be during Upper School Tutorial and Activities!

We have an exciting trip planned for our eighth grade students on Friday, May 2. The eighth grade students and Episcopal chaperones will travel to Islands of Adventure in Orlando. This trip is an opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their Middle School experience.
Students should arrive at 6:15 a.m. at the Upper School drop-off to board the buses. Buses will depart at 6:30 a.m. with an estimated return time of 6:30 p.m. The school will send a text to parents when the bus departs Islands of Adventure and again when the buses are 30 minutes from campus.
Students will need money for lunch, snacks, and souvenirs. Student tickets are Islands of Adventure park access only and do not include Universal Express Pass. Students who have a Universal Annual Pass and/or an Annual Universal Express Pass may use it, but neither are required.
There will be a class meeting with the students the week before the trip to discuss the expectations and answer questions. Students must wear Episcopal spirit dress. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Noir-Jones at noir-jonesm@testing-phlexon.online.
We are excited to share this memorable and fun experience with our eighth graders!

This is a special time for our community as we prepare for Senior Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. The next few months are going to pass quickly. Coupled with senior exams, AP exams, and many academic challenges comes the task of keeping track of all the events that you must attend. Attached please find a calendar listing all the events that seniors must attend in preparation for Commencement.
Parents are invited to attend several of these functions as noted in the calendar. Please note the proper dress for each occasion. Caps and gowns will be distributed on Thursday, May 15. At Commencement, please do not hold more than twelve seats for your family. Remember that seats are available on a first come first served basis and that a family member must be present to hold seats.
