The Beach Volleyball program has a Varsity team with 16 players and a JV team with eight players. The six-court facility makes it the best one for a high school team in the state and one of the best in the country. In 2024, ESJ finished second place at regionals. The 2025 goal is to move on to states as the program becomes stronger every year. Marco Macias is the Head Coach of the Varsity team overseeing our JV team with the help of Coach Chesser and Coach Yantin.

Marco Macias Vargas

Marco Macias Vargas has served as the beach volleyball head coach since the start of the ESJ program. Coach Macias is a former professional indoor and beach volleyball player from México, and played for almost two decades at a professional level and in almost 20 countries around four different continents.
